Lorraine Marie Hack,

LORRAINE MARIE HACK,

2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce Lorraine’s death at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Monday, January 26, 2015 with her family at her side. Lorraine loved her long-time career as school secretary, trying her luck at Casinos, camping and hosting family dinners to spend time with her family. Lorraine is lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband Alvin R. Hack; her children Shawn (Rose and Gerald), Kevin (Tanya); her precious “grandchildren” Coco, Marshmallow, Daisy May and Stevie as well as her beloved dog Sheba. Dearest sister of Debbie (Jay) Lee, Betty-Ann Guitard and Roger (Carmen) and sister-in-law to Lise Hack and Floyd Hack. She will forever live the hearts of her nieces and nephews; Michael (Melissa), Derek (Bree), Raeanna, Christopher (Kim), Carey, Rachael (Roger), Jason and Crystal. Also survived by numerous extended family members. Predeceased by her parents Evariste and Edna Guitard and her brother Louie. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many nurses and doctors who showed so much care and compassion over her last few days in the Palliative Care Unit at the Kirkland & District Hospital. Thank you to French Family Funeral Home for their guidance through these difficult times. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to Federal Public School – Breakfast Program (make cheques payable to Federal Public School, 80 Tweedsmuir Road, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 1J5) or to Timiskaming Hospice Palliative Care (145 Government Road East, P.O. Dear Alvin and family, It is with great sadness that I heard about Lorraine’s passing. We were school friends and often visited each other until my family and I moved away from Larder Lake. I will always remember her as a dear friend and a beautiful person, inside and out… very sweet and kind. Please accept my deepest condolences.

One of the great fortunes in my life was having Lorraine as a Secretary .She provided me with a smooth and comfortable transition with her professionalism, warmth efficiency and knowledge of school management. Lorraine’s title could have read School Administrator, Nurse, Librarian, Supply Teacher, Volunteer +++++++ Lorraine loved her occupation., She loved the children and had a great rapport with Staff. She loved her Family. She was the consummate professional.. I was blessed to have known Lorraine as a co-worker and as a friend. The School and Community were blessed as well. The Good Lord has received another Angel.. Brian Barkell
