Leonie Cliche,

LEONIE CLICHE,

2021

It is with profound sadness that the families Cliche and Jacques announce the passing of Aimée Leonie Jacques Cliche at the young age of 63. With family by her side, Leonie passed away peacefully at the Kirkland Lake and District Hospital on November 1, 2019. Left to mourn are her devoted husband of 40 years, Anthony, her children Melissa, Matthew (Mandy) and her precious grand-daughters Paige and Maribel. She leaves behind sisters, Fleurette McLaughlin (Stan), Jacinthe LaRocque (Eugene), her brothers Camil, Richard (Mona), Claude (Sharon), David (Carmen), Andre. Also sister-in-law Linda and brother-in-law Laval as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be welcomed into heaven by her mother Rena Letourneau, her father Lorenzo Jacques, father-in-law Clarence Cliche, sisters Clemence Roy and Marie Jacques, brother Jean Jacques, niece Lynn McLaughlin and grandchildren Lorenzo and Robert Cliche. Leonie will always be remembered as a master of numbers, being a bookkeeper for her entire career for multiple businesses. She was also the manager of the Larder Lake Co-op for many years, her skills and dedication to her position were instrumental in keeping the doors open. Leonie is remembered fondly by everyone she met as a joker and dedicated to her family. She was very strong, thoughtful and worried about everyone but herself. She enjoyed relaxing at the cottage, taking rides on the pontoon boat, visits to Casino Rama and her yearly summer trips with her two grand-daughters. As per Leonie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has already taken place. Offer Condolence for the family of Leonie Cliche

Our deepest sympathy to the Cliche and Jacques families as well as the community of Larder Lake on the loss of a valuable member. Thanks to her hard work and management skills, she was instrumental in saving the Co -Op when it was on the brink of closing. She was always willing to support the organizations of Larder Lake.
