THOMPSON, Lea Jane
1990 - 2023
It is with great sorrow and heart break that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Lea Jane Thompson. Lea was not only an amazing mother to Shea-Lynn Ryan, but she was the cherished daughter to Tammy Thompson-Bush and Jim Plant. Our beloved Lea leaves behind her brothers and sisters Mike Plant (Kimberly), Alan Plant, Aaron Plant (Jenny Tickner), Sarah Plant (George), Jack Plant, Steven Wilson, Adam Bush and Angie Ethier (Mark). She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She leaves behind her grandparents Thomas and Catherine Thompson and Patricia Quibell and Danial Deering. Lea also leaves behind her many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her good friend Laura McCulloch and Dave Emberley and many other friends.
Lea is now reunited with her brother Sean Plant, her step-father Jimmy Bush, her grandparents on both sides.
Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Educational Fund to be set up for Shea-lynn’s future.
The Family will receive friends on Monday August 21, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative (Formerly French Family Funeral Home) at 111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, Ontario P2N 3L1. (705) 567-3565.
A Funeral Mass will also be held on Tuesday August 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative (Formerly the French Family Funeral Home).

My condolences goes to leas family and friends, I was grateful to spend many years with lea when she took me in under her wing while I was suffering and going through a difficult time in my life, it’s sad to hear she has passed. She was a very sweet and caring person.

So sry for your lost. Didn't know her long . I remember when u were pregnant with her .. then by chance I got to know her as a woman.. couple years ago. From what I got to know. My god Tammy ..she had a heart of gold.like you. ..She def loved her daughter.. her mom. And can that girl cook.. always making meals. Baking. There for everyone..
