Smith, Lawrence Lloyd “Tex”

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Lawrence on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Tex is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rollande, his sister Betty Ruth Smith and “son” Gilles Renaud (Lisa). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and two sisters-in-law, Annette Delaney and Florence Beaudry. Predeceased by his father Lloyd Smith (August 6, 1992), his mother Mina Smith (April 5, 2002) and his sister Marie Beaudoin (December 28, 2016). Tex loved spending time with family as well as fishing and moose hunting with friends. Thank you to Extendicare Kirkland Lake for taking good care of Lawrence over the years. Special thanks to Trisha for providing extra care and support. In keeping with Lawrence’s wishes, cremation has been arranged with Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative.
