Shocked and saddened by the news. I have a fond memory of Ken to share. I think it was in 1991 or 1992, my wife and I were in Toronto catching a connecting flight at Pearson International Airport. While walking through the vast hallways, I spotted Ken, and he spotted me. We met and he said, as only Ken could, “Jesus Christ, you walk like a Pochopsky”. The three of us sat down at a small pub in the airport, shared a few drinks and talked about business and our trips. My wife and I almost missed our connecting flight, as we got caught up in good friendly conversation with Ken. Sincerely, Christopher Pochopsky

I have just heard of Kenny’s passing and wish to extend to his family our deepest sympathies. I am Ken’s first cousin (his Father and my Mother were brother and sister). After I was married, my husband and I and three children use to visit Kirland Lake and we spent many good times at the cottage. Ken would take the kids on the back of his motor bike for rides and also rides in the motor boat. Many good memories. I am sure he will be missed by family and friends.
