Justyna Chodoriwsky died suddenly Monday, July 14, 2008 at Extendicare following a lengthy illness. She was born in Kotyryny Ukraine to the late Jurko and Sofia Martyniw. Justyna was the beloved wife of Michaylo, dedicated and loving mother of Slava Kozela (Paul), Bohdun Chodoriwsky (Olia), Daria Timmer (Ulli), Sonya Lytwynec (Barrow), Sandra Bucciarelli (Angelo), George Chodoriwsky (Wendy), Mary Chodoriwsky, Mike Chodoriwsky (Alice), Orlene Kokocinski (David) and Peter Chodoriwsky (Sophie). She will be greatly missed by grandchildren Peter, Chris, Stephen, David, Andrew, Justine, Leda, Adam, Stefania, Guilio, Maria, Lucas, Adrian, Jacob, Sonya, Natalie, Kristen, Adam, Jordan, Nicholas Sydney and Matthew. Justyna was predeceased by her son Roman, grandchild Susanna Timmer, parents Jurko and Sofia, sister Agatha Martyniw Szelag (France), brother Michaylo Martyniw, sister Marysia Belenko and brother Petro Romaniw (Ukraine). The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 18, 2008 at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Church 39 Second St. Justyna will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Justyna’s memory may be made to the Huntington’s Society of Canada (151 Frederick St. Suite 400, Kitchener, ON.
