Joe also leaves to mourn his brother John (June) Merhar and sister Alline Morash, as well as sisters-in-law Betty Merhar and Helen (Ken) Sutton. Joe loved his children and grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Leslie, and your family. Your father is now fishing with “The” Fisher of Men, and telling Him some “fish” stories :o)

Our deepest sympathy to the Merhar family in the passing of your husband, father, grandfather, friend…..I know it is difficult to lose someone you love….and wanted to share this with you…I hope it somehow helps you at this time of sorrow. The Legacy When I die, give what is left of me to children. If you need to cry, cry for your brothers walking beside you. Put your arms around anyone and give them what you need to give to me. I want to leave you with something, something better than words or sounds. Look for me in the people I have known and loved. And if you cannot live without me, then let me live on in your eyes, your mind and your acts of kindness. You can love me most by letting hands touch hands and letting go of children that need to be free. Love does not die, people do. So when all that is left of me is loveâ¦.. Give me awayâ¦.. Huge hugs to all of you! Kathy & Steve Petit xo
