Joe was a good friend and lots of fun to hunt and fish with! A very good hunter! I’ll never forget Joe and his Moto-Ski Sonic, one of the fastest sleds in town at the time, way before snowmachines were known as sleds. Sorry for his passing!

Sorry to hear of Joey’s passing. My condolences to his family. I lost track of Joey during our grade 3 year in Mona John’s class at Kirkland West Public School. I used to bring Joey home for lunch from time to time. Once, we froze our tongues on the monkey bars at KWPS during the winter of 1953 and hopefully, we learned not to do that again. Joey was a special guy, even a a very young man. I am glad to hear that he had a great family and lots of friends but am sorry that I didn’t get to know him in later years. R.I.P. Joey.
