Sikorski, John

SIKORSKI, John

1957 - 2022

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sudden passing of John Josef Sikorski. In early March, John peacefully passed on in his home in Levack, Ontario. Born January 6th, 1957 in Kirkland Lake to Jadwiga and Josef Sikorski. Raised in the Town of Larder Lake, John spent the majority of his life in the area, until he relocated years ago to the Sudbury region for work.

Having a fun time was not a challenge for John, especially in his wild years. As a youngster, he was that annoying tag along always seeking adventure with his late brother-in-law, Marshall “Sunny” Clyburn. He often found his way to being the center of attention with his big personality filling the room. John would fondly mention how he got to live in the best of times; the music, the cars, the parties, and the freedom went unmatched. He was a man with many interests and talents, however, was not always well behaved. John will live on through the memories of all the lives he touched.

He leaves behind his children; Justin and Jamie-Lee Sikorski, Sister; Yadwiga Clyburn, and extended family.

At this time, the family invites you to join them in memoriam to John on March 26 2022 between 6 pm to 8 pm at the French Family Funeral Home in Kirkland Lake.

Jamie-Lee

My Dearest Jamie
I am saddened for you by the loss of you father John,
His earth walk has been completed but his spirit will always be forever and always in your heart and soul.
With his passing we understand that life is short and it can teach us, or not, many things,
Appreciate and Savor life,
He did that well.
As you face the fear of loss and the pain of mourning, it is easy to turn away from the world, but just remember the people who love you will be here and present to hold you safely.

Love Marie

Sikorski Family

My sincere condolences to the family. So saddened to hear of Johns passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at TL and Fraser Mine in Sudbury. He always had a way of turning a crappy day into an enjoyable day with his jokes and amazing sense of humor. He was never afraid to tell anybody what was on his mind no matter who he was talking to. Rest in peace my friend.
