In loving memory of the late Jean-Paul (J.P.) Gagné who passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Temiskaming Hospital on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the age of 61. J.P. was born August 6, 1950 in Earlton to Ludger and Marie-Ange Gagné. Jean-Paul worked hard as a truck driver, welder and a mechanic and enjoyed working in Ontario, Alberta and the Northwest Territories in the construction, paving and mining industries. J.P. most enjoyed spending time with his family, camping at Sutton Bay and having coffee with friends at Tim Hortons. He is survived by his wife Lise Gervais (Gosselin), and was the loving father of Nicki (Victor) Galley and David Gagné. J.P. will be dearly missed by his older sisters, Gisele (Roch) Auger, Louise Rivest, Denyse Anderson and Madeleine (Gerry) Levéillé. He was step-father to Nathalie Gervais (Steve), Lorie-Anne Gervais (Roger) and Eric (Krystal) Gervais. Jean-Paul was the loved pepère of Jonathan and Emma and papi to Océanne and Leah. He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Jean-Paul was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law Jean-Paul Rivest. The family will receive friends at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 6, 2011 for one hour prior to the memorial service at 11am. Father Richard Ngoy officiating. A reception is to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 116 Dymond Crescent, New Liskeard. If desired, donations to the New Liskeard Bikers Reunion will be gratefully acknowledged.
