LACROIX, Jean (1956-2017)It’s with heavy hearts that the family must announce that unexpected and sudden passing of Jean (John) Emile Joseph Thomas Lacroix at the young age of 60, on February 5th, 2017 his new journey began.John was predeceased by his father Albert Lacroix, cousin Roxy Lacroix, brothers-in-law Andre Larente & Scott Miness and nephew Marc Siebert. John will be deeply missed by his wife Patricia Lacroix, his children Natalie & Kenny, Jamie & Samantha, Daniel & Kristen, Jessie & Kellyn, Michaila & Bradley and his four beautiful grandchildren Mackenzie, Mitchell, Madison and Niomi.Survived by his mother Louise (Gaetan) his siblings Ghislain, Marie, (Doug) Denise (Brian) Rollande, Paulette, (Joe) Pauline (Sylvain) and Lise. (Eric) Also survived by his in-laws Tom & Cathy Thompson, Patricia & Dan Deering, Michele & Eric Pamplin, Tammy Bush, Tom & Josee Thompson, Kirk & Vivian Miness, Jeff Miness, Tania Deering, Trevor Deering, Tyler Deering and best friends, Kim Grant (Kimmy Doo) and Donnie Savarie, cousin Mike & Val, his special niece Angel Larente as well as numerous nieces and nephews.John loved working and playing outdoors. His favourite hobbies were fishing, camping, snowmobiling and hanging out at Tim Hortons for his daily fix. John loved working on his race cars, his yearly tradition at the Northern Thunder Dragway and the Earlton Drag N’ Fly. These are yearly events that have been deeply cherished and shared between John, his wife Patty, there children and close friends.John will be missed by the entire drag racing family. He loved his family and encouraged his children to stick together no matter what happens.
