BLAIN, Herman

In loving memory of Joseph Herman Blain who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Sunday October 6, 2013 at the age of 88. Born in Hilliardton Ontario on November 15, 1924 to Ovila and Louisia (nee Pelletier) Blain. Herman grew up and farmed in this area all his life. Beloved husband of the late Annette (nee Ethier) Loving father of Gerald and his wife Monique, Bruno and his wife Dianne, Laurent and his wife Ruth, Michel and his wife Lise, Dianne Brookes, Lise (Mrs. Ernie MacKewn) and Claudette Blain. Herman was a loving grandfather and great grandfather. He also leaves behind his best friend Rita Milot. Predeceased by his parents Louisia and Ovila Blain. Mr. Blain loved travelling which he did extensively, downhill skiing, taking it up in his 60's, dancing and exercise. Friends and family will be welcomed at the Perrin Funeral Chapel 128 Whitewood Ave. New Liskeard on Saturday October 12th from 2 until 4 p.m. for a time of reflection and celebration. A reception to follow at the New Liskeard Legion. If desired donations to the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Herman Blain will be gratefully acknowledged
