BOLGER, Henry P. – Passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Kirkland & District Hospital with family at his side. Henry was predeceased by his parents Michael and Catherine (née Connelly) Bolger, his daughter Debbie, his son Dean, his siblings Mary Ann, Keavin, Albert, Veronica, Mary, Barbara, Gary and son-in-law Denis. Survived and deeply missed by his wife Joan; his beloved children Linda (Randy) Powley, Danny Bolger, Terry Ann Bolger, David (Debbie) Bolger, Brian Bolger and daughter-in-law Star Bolger; dear grandchildren Fiona Carter, Cheryl Powley, Scott Powley, Michael Bolduc, Matthew John, Amanda (Mark) Roy, Douglas Bolger, Steven Bolger, Jeffrey Bolger; precious great grandchildren Kyla, Dillon, Caitlin, Brittney, Cole, McKayla, MacKenzie, Brooke and Henry. Also survived by his brother Joseph Bolger as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family will welcome friends at the FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3L1) on Monday, January 18th, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from the chapel of the funeral home. Had the pleasure of working with Hank during the Central Canada Juvenile Championships and with the Irish back in the 80’s. He worked tirelessly to ensure hockey was successful in KL. Very funny and a huge Leaf fan. Our condolences to Dave and the Bolger families.

My sincere condolences to Hank’s family and close friends. Hank was a straight shooter and called a spade a spade especially after a Holy Name juvenile hockey game if he figured the ref missed one or two calls. I enjoyed his many visits to the Timiskaming Square where I got to know him a lot better! RIP Hank
