Harry died peacefully at Kirkland & District Hospital, on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in the company of family, at the age of 81. Harold Paul Larocque was born and raised in Kirkland Lake. He was a longstanding member of Holy Name Church, a life long member of the Knights of Columbus and served on the committee of adjustments for the Town of Kirkland Lake. He was employed for many years by Weston’s Bakery before enjoying a fruitful retirement. He especially enjoyed family events and time spent at the hunting camp. Harry rejoins his loving wife and best friend Marie Rose (nee Brazeau). Harry will be truly missed by his brother John (Barbara) and daughters Pauline (Raymond) Kenny, Patricia (Tom) Hamilton, Diane (Albert) Charbonneau and Laurie (Tim) Blahey and will be lovely remembered by his six grandchildren William Hamilton, Marie (Richie) Jordan, Kristen Hamilton, Michael Kenny, Connor Blahey and Abby Charbonneau as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Kirkland & District Hospital for their compassionate & professional care. A memorial Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Tuesday, June 4, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Church or the Kirkland & District Hospital, 145 Government Rd. E., Kirkland Lake, ON. P2N 3P4 will be gratefully appreciated.
