BEAUPRE, Guy

It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing on Monday, August 14 th, 2023, at the age of 89; one day shy of his 90^th birthday.

He was reunited with the love of his life, the late Gisèle Boulanger. Son of the late Louis Beaupré and the late Alda Thiffault. Beloved father of Alain (Leona), Daniel (Melanie), Sylvain (Angela) and Martin (Emily).

Predeceased by his children Joseph, Richard and Julie. Beloved grandfather of Mélanie (Farid), Steven (Makayla), Samantha, Mya and Alexandre. Brother of Louisette Beaupré, Hélène (late Guy Bégin), Aldéo, the late Marcel (late Gisèle) and the late Monique.

He will be missed by his in-laws Hélène (late Armand), Aurore (late Bertrand), Rhéal (Angela), Christiane (late André), Gaston (late Micheline), Thérèse (Carmel), late Fernande (Claude) and Bernard (Lorraine).

He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A private visitation for the family was held on Monday, August 14 th . A celebration of his life and burial will take place on Saturday, September 2 nd , 2023 at 1 pm in Sainte-Hélène-de-Mancebourg, Québec.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to caregiver Larissa Smith (Extendicare Kirkland Lake), who was present with our father in his final moments. This gesture of empathy greatly touched us.

The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in honour of our father.

Our sincere condolences on the passing of your father…I remember quite fondly working with your dad as a summer student at the Kerr Addison Mine in the square set stopes and boy those sets had to be straight in line and the blocking that went with it….he use to say do it right not twice..lol….cherishing those wonderful memories you have of your dad will somewhat help ease your pain sorry for your loss…RIP Guy
