It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gordon Langford at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Thursday January 14, 2016 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by his parents Robert Douglas and Margaret (nee Hamilton) Langford as well as his brother Doug. He is survived and remembered by his loving companion Ashley Hendy and will be sadly missed by his loyal dog Jessie. His beloved children; his son Chris (Margo) Langford, his daughters; Lori (Richard) Sudnik and Sherri (John) Turkiewicz, and ex-wife Lynne Ames. Also survived by his siblings Jerry (Maureen), Lynda (Alan), Jim and Kenny, and 5 precious grandchildren. Also fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and longtime friends in Matachewan, ON and in Trent Hills, ON. Gord loved the outdoors and was a dedicated sports fan. Donations in Gord’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Timiskaming Diabetes Program (P.O. Box 3000, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3P4).
