Dawn and Family
Dawn...we are sorry to hear of the passing of Glen. He was a very pleasant man to talk to. He will be missed by all who knew him. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. God Bless.
In loving memory of Glen Duffy who passed away quietly at home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his loved ones.
Predeceased by many family members including his son Brian and Daughter Michelle.
Glen leaves behind his loving wife Dawn, daughter in law Annette, grandchildren Eric (Farrin), Amber (Mark), Jamie, Jacob, Corina and his 4 great grandchildren, Rowan, Lexie, Aurie and Ryker.
Glen’s pride and joy of his life was his grandchildren. Watching them grow into wonderful adults with the best great grandchildren that he could ever imagine he could have. Each one brought him such a wonderous feeling of completion in love and understanding. No one could ever be more proud of them.
During his life Glen had many adventures some of which included driving for Stephen Leacock Jr. and sharing the great stories that came from it. Working for the Town of Larder Lake running Raven Beach Park for 10 years was also a wonderful time and he made many wonderful friends. Moving to Englehart in 96 he worked at Grants until he retired.
Glen was an avid fisherman who loved to fish no matter what the weather and going on fly in fishing trips with his dear friends.
Glen loved life and helping others in need was something that he enjoyed doing. Without hesitation he would jump in with both feet to help with what ever was needed and was given complete joy when the job was done.
Upon retiring Glen became very fond of gardening and each year he loved to add something new to his front flower bed and grew many vegetables that he mostly gave away. We were so very blessed to have Glen in our lives, and we praise our Lord
For giving him to us.
He will be greatly missed by many, but none more than his loving family!
