GEORGE QUEHE, Sadly we announce the passing of George on Monday, August 1st 2016 at home in Thornloe ON at the age of 90. Raised in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, George was well known for his carpentry work and built many well-known buildings in New Liskeard and surrounding area. George also had a love for dogs and raised many throughout his life. Beloved husband for 70 years to Ada Florence Quehe (Lewis). Loving father to Elsie (Clifford) Goheen, Roy (Joan) Quehe, John (Karen) Quehe, David (Sandy) Quehe, George (Gayle) Quehe, Sheila Quehe, and Eva (Tim) O’Brien. Survived by his brothers David (June) and Billy (Linda) Quehe as well as his sister Ruth (Malcolm) Spracklin. Survived also by his brother-in-law’s John (Jack) Vincent, Don Baker, Leo St. Don, and Bill Dillon; sister-in-law’s Bonnie Quehe, Alma O’Keefe, and Millie Quehe. Predeceased by his brothers Alfred, Rudolph, Clifford, and Max (Mary) Quehe; Sisters Loretta Vincent, Lillian Baker, Hazel Dillon, and Eva St. Don. George is loved and will be truly missed by his 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday August 4th, from 2 until 4 pm and from 7 until 9 pm at Perrin Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday August 5th, 2016 at 2 pm from the Haileybury Pentecostal Church. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
