FOWLER, George

In memory of Mr. George Alfred Fowler, who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital after a short illness on November 19, 2010 at the age of 74. George is survived by his loving wife of fifty years Dorothy Ann daughter of deceased George and Mable (Shortt) Herod, his sons James and his wife Carole of Cobalt and Stephen and his wife Charlene of North Bay, his grandchildren Christopher, Chantal (Marc), and Charles (Marley) and his sister Florence Krick. George was predeceased by his parents James and Gladys (Archer) Fowler, his sister Jean, brother Lloyd and grandson Dylan. A memorial service for the late George Fowler will be held on Saturday December 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, New Liskeard. If desired, donations to the Temiskaming Hospital Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged. He was a proud farmer and welder fitter, receiving his apprenticeship in his early twenties from Ebert Welding; he proceeded to work for many companies throughout his fulfilling career, until his retirement, when he continued on as a hobby farmer on the family farm.
