I was so sorry to hear about Doug , my brothers and myself grew up with Doug and family in Chaput Hughes, I can think of a lot of things that we did together, I often thought of getting in touch with him when I heard he had moved back to Kirkland Lake, but never got around to do it. I was really sorry to hear about his passing.

Thank you all for your condolences. Dad truly felt at home in Kirkland Lake. He loved to play golf, baseball, and hockey. At one point all in one day plus celebration! I don’t know of anyone who could accomplish that, especially at 70ish. I’m sure he has already booked some tee off times. It’s great to hear how well thought of he was. Sandra, Paul, Brian and families.

My condolences to Doug’s family on your loss, I worked with Doug for many years hauling cars at Mc Callum Trspt in Oshawa, he was always a happy go lucky guy and a good workmate, an all-around good guy, typical Irishman.

Our condolences to the O’Shaughnessy family. Doug’s good nature wore off on everyone around him. He was a true friend and was always there to help others. He really loved his golf and it was impossible to have a bad round when playing with him, no matter what the score. Will truly miss you pal. Don & Vivi Mervyn

So sorry and sad to hear of Dougs passing. He was part of our old timers slow pitch ball team and was our organizer! I was also fortunate to be one of his golfing buddies . He had great humour in both of these pursuits. I am grateful to have known him and sad to see him go. So sorry, Doug and Claire Bouillon
