To Grace, and Family…..although we’ve not kept in touch regularly, we have thought of you often. Remembering the past, in Matachewan, on the porch at Gary’s house playin CCR, The trips with the band and waterskiing, or just hanging out…wow…time has passed, but our friendship will never be forgotten. Gary may be gone but he will never be forgotten. His innovative progressiveness can be seen all over Matachewan. May God bless his family and friends with peace during these hard times. We are thinking of you all.

To Grace, Miss, Dawn, Josh & Chad, the best neighbors we ever had! To Dan, Angel, Ida and Steve, our hearts are with you as you grieve. To all of Gary’s amazing friends, who stuck right beside him until the bitter end! For days and months youâve watched him fade, so uncomfortable and so afraid. God only knows where you all found the strength, to go on day after day after day after day. We only hope that along with Gary’s untimely passing, his release from this illness will give you all, peace everlasting. Our family never knew what ALS was, until our soft spoken neighbor was stricken with it so young. It isnât fair that he suffered or that he died, or that this disease chipped away at his pride. Garyâs death leaves emptiness and sadness in its wake, and I know that my words canât heal your heartache. But, perhaps if you hold fast to your favorite memories of him, with time , you will smile and the sorrow and the anguish will dim. From the George family to the Larkman family With love! Dear Grace & family, you may not remember me, but I am Karen Dube’s youngest brother Kevin Taman. My wife and I just heard about Gary’s passing and wanted to offer our deepest condolence’s to you and your family. He was a good neighbour – his garage was next to my parents house in Matachewan, and he helped them not a few times with ploughing in the winter. Please know your family will be in our prayers.
