My condolences go out to Pat and family. I will miss my friend Garnet and his personality. Garnet played for our team the Timmins Oldtymers in the Kirkland Lake slow pitch tournament held every year in August. He was a great addition to our team because like the rest of us we were only interested in having fun. All of his family had many a laugh with us and at us with some of the antics we displayed. We are a team that at many tournaments wore Hawaiian shirts and leather hats. All of the umpires laughed also and a lot of people wanted to join our group to play because we were like that. Garnet fit right in with our group. He was well liked and respected by us and I’m sure he’s playing ball in heaven right now. To a great guy, friend and most of all the chance to be a friend with this special person. Danny Ansara
