It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Gabriel Marecki.
He is survived by his three sons, Alexandre, Yohan and Liam who were his
greatest pride and source of love throughout his life.
He also leaves to mourn his loving mother, Lise Marecki, his dear sister
Nathaly Marecki (Rene Sauvageau), his brothers Stephan Marecki (Mark E. Taylor), Jean-Pascal
Lafond as well as his half brother Patrick Robert. Gabriel treasured his
family and loved ones. His absence will leave a huge void. He also leaves
his nieces and nephews, Jennifer St-Hilaire, Tom St-Hilaire, Eve Jutras,
and Justin Jutras with whom he shared moments full of complicity and
laughter. He will also be remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and
many friends.
He will be forever remembered as a man who put family values above
everything else. Generous and protective of those he loved.
To honour Gabriel's memory, we invite family and friends to gather on
August 17th, 2023 between 1:00 - 10:00 p.m. at his sister Nathaly's house.
The address will be shared by private message to those wishing to
attend. Gab would have turned 50 that day and he would have wanted the
event to be a celebration rather than one marked by sadness.
Come share your memories and stories and together, let's honour his life
with love as he would have liked. We will forever keep Gabriel in our
hearts, and we are grateful to have shared his life and love. *We would like to thank the OPP for their support and efforts put in place to bring justice to Gabriel. Special thanks to M. Daulton Crockett for his kindness and compassion.
