PLANTE, Fernande
In memory of Mrs. Fernande Plante, beloved wife of the late Leo Plante, who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the age of 87. Mrs. Plante was predeceased by her husband Leo, sons Henri and Rosaire, daughter Simone Duval, grandson Jamie Gravelle, brother Armand and sisters Gaby and Thérèse. She will be sadly missed by her children: Rita (Jean-Claude) Lemire, Bibiane (Jacques) Julien, Suzanne (Jean-Paul) Gravelle, Anita (Ken) Little, Remi (Laurie), Jean-Louis, Léon, Lucie Brazeau (Bob Sutton), Claudette (Gilles) Pépin, Jacynthe (Bob) Arsenault and son-in-law Roland Duval, 27 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Marguerite Rivard, Cécile (André) Gauthier, Jeannine Rivard, Madeleine Ménard, Pauline (Henri) Boucher, brother André (Lise) Benoit, sister-in-law Laurette Benoit, brother-in-law Lionel Dénommé, and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law from the Plante family. She was a member of Eglise Sacré-Coeur and was a long-time member of the UCFO. She was an avid quilter, making quilts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Plante was a very loving lady, hardly a day passed without anyone dropping in. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren would always want to go have a bowl of Memere's homemade soup. The family of the late Fernande Plante will receive friends at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Monday from 7 until 9pm. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 11 am from the Sacred Heart Church. Fr. Richard Ngoy officiating.
