PLOURDE, Elsie - Passed away at Englehart and District Hospital on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at the age of 89. Elsie was born June 1, 1930 at Matachewan First Nation to Annie (McLeod) and Harry Batisse. She is survived by her children Sharon Richard, Merry Deveau (Gaston Henneberry) and David (Line), 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, brother Barney (Doreen) Batisse. Predeceased by husband Clint Plourde; son in-laws Leo Richard, Carl Deveau; brothers Felix, Eli, Mike, George, Larry; sisters Laura Flood, Louisa Millen, Lorena McKenzie. A picnic will be held for friends and family to share memories of Elsie. It will held on August 17th at Fraser Lake park from 2:00 to 4:00. If it rains it will be held at the Matachewan Legion.
