In loving memory of Elsie Fielder who passed away at the Temiskaming Lodge on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at the age of 95. Elsie was born in Lancashire England to loving parents Alfred and Winifred (nee Saunders) Barker. She moved to Canada in 1923. Elsie was married to Reginald Fielder in 1946. She worked at National Grocers and was a part time Librarian in New Liskeard. Elsie will be remembered for her participation in church activities, singing in the choirs and as a member of the Barker Sisters trio along with her sisters Marg and Winnie. She was the embodiment of gentleness and humility who loved her Lord Jesus, her family and community dearly. Elsie was pre deceased by her parents, her husband Reg and her children Barry (1955) and Nancy (2010). She will be missed by her son-in-law Tom Tripp, grandchildren Jason (Sylvie), Jana (Al Charbonneau) and Julie (Jeff Sajatovic), great grandchildren Michaela, Levi, Nyomi, Miriam and Anna and many nieces, nephews. The family of the late Mrs. Fielder will receive friends and family at the St Andrew's Presbyterian church 45 Wellington Ave. New Liskeard on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 7 until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 21 from 10 am until time for the Service at 11 a.m. Rev. Jason Tripp and Pastor George Paraskevopolous officiating. Luncheon to take place after the Service at St Andrew's Presbyterian church. If desired donation to the St Andrew's Presbyterian Church or to the Temiskaming Music Festival would be appreciated.
