ELDA MULVIHILL,

Mrs. Elda Mulvihill passed away suddenly at home in her 94th year. Elda was born on October 10, 1914 and was a member of both the Italo-Canadian Club and Encore Club. She had been an active member in the Teck Horticultural Society, where she was recognized for her excellence in flower arranging and was the winner of the Red Rose Trophy in numerous years. Elda took great pride in her garden and enjoyed bird watching, especially the hummingbirds who visited her feeder. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler. Elda was also a devout member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She was predeceased by her husband William Joseph; sons Erwin (Brenda) and Bryan (Debbie) and brother Elmer. Elda is survived by her children Gregory (Lesley) and Angela (John); grandchildren Ryan, Erin (Jake), Kevin, Renée, Claire, Daniel and Bridget and great granddaughter Destiny. She is also survived by many dedicated neighbours and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Elda will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.Offer Condolence for the family of Elda Mulvihill
