STARK, Dorene
The family announces with great sorrow and love, the death of Sydney Dorene Stark on Sunday November 25th, 2013 at Picton General Hospital, at the age of 84. Dorene was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert William (Bob) her brother Kenneth Bryan and her parents Ruby and Syd Bryan. She is survived by four children, Margaret (Ron) Johnson of Picton, Barbara (Wayne Stratton) Stark of Englehart, Patricia (Clive) Dorland of Cochrane, Robert of Englehart, grandchildren William Johnson of Wainwright, Sydney (Jay McDonnell) Johnson of Toronto, Cory (Micheal) Kotsopoulos of Halifax, Mark (Una) Schlievert of Bowmanville & Roberta (Jeremy) Peever of Peterborough, Makeham Dorland of Ottawa, Andrew Dorland of Cochrane, Steven Dorland of Toronto & Sydney Dorland of Ottawa. Also by her great grandchildren Jake, Noah & Lucian Peever, Luke & Kalen Kotsopoulos, Garrit, Autumn & Aurelia Schlievert. Dorene was born, raised and married in Englehart. At a very early age she worked in the family businesses, first in the dry goods store and then at Bryan’s Furniture and Appliances at the Englehart location. Dorene and Bob were married for over 50 years, living in Evanturel Township in the house that they built together. Together they were involved in many community service clubs and served on many committees. The family of the late Mrs. Dorene Stark will receive friends at Christ Church Anglican, 5th Ave. Englehart, Friday, November 29, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Anglican on Saturday, November 30, at 2:30 pm. Rev. Linda White officiating. In memory contributions to Christ Church Anglican or the Englehart & District Hospital Auxiliary Fund will be greatly appreciated by the family by the family.
