ACKLES, Donna (née Levinski) - We mourn the loss of our beloved Donna Ackles who passed away unexpectedly on Jan 9, 2024.
Devoted and loving mother to Kailee Bradley (Jeremy Knott) and Brittany Bradley (Endri Hoxha). She leaves behind her loving and devoted musical partner and husband Chris Ackles. She was the best and most attentive grandma to her lab grand doggers Nala and Mina. Compassionate sister to Brenda Howey (Lorne), Perry Levinski (pre–Dec. Patty) Dale Levinski (pre-Dec.) and feisty and vibrant friend to many.
While we grieve during this impossible time, we find comfort in the beautiful memories we have. She was well respected as a true Kirkland Laker, an incredibly resilient and selfless woman and a force to be reckoned with. Her musical talents were undeniable and her passion for gardening was obvious through the beauty she cultivated around her home.

Grief is a process. I encourage you to make sure you take care of yourselves as I am very certain Donna would want you all to do from her perch in heaven . When you feel down, watch for the little things around you and you will see her spirit rise up to comfort you. She lived her life soulfully and that imprint is her legacy to her Earth Walk. It never dies even as we return to the place from which we came.
It was an honour for me to work with you in KLCVI, Chris, as short as it was. And I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the girls through teaching and coaching . You all lost a piece of your hearts, but heaven has gained an even greater angel. May she watch over you all . Peace , Love, Hope .
