Donald Angus Sterling Donald Angus Sterling of Thornloe Township died May 8, 2009, at the Temiskaming Hospital after a lengthy battle with lung disease. He was born in Kirkland Lake on April 27, 1954, to Donald and Emily (Hearn) Sterling. Mr. Sterling enjoyed fishing and hunting, and his four children and 10 grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers Ricky Sterling, Buddy Sterling (Shelly); sister Muriel (Garfield); son Donnie (Miranda); daughters Bunny (Mat), Elizabeth (Donnelly) and April; sister Peggy; father Donald and mother Emily. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard. Visitation is Wednesday, May 13 from 7-9 p.m. with the service conducted Thursday, May 14 at 2 p.m. by Reverend Michael Fedechko. Burial is at the Hanbury Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ricky Sterling, Buddy Sterling, Jaimie Dickenson, David Dickenson and Oscar Doupe.
