Cindy and Family
I'm sorry for your loss; sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family!
It is with great sadness that we announce after an intense 4-year battle of cancer the passing of Donald Eli Degagner on November 05, 2023, at the age of 47.
Donald was a loving father and husband, he found peace in the outdoors. He loved to fish, and he would spend as much time as he possibly could in his workshop building anything he could. Donald spent many years in the drilling and mining industry always looking for the next challenge.
Donald was predeceased by his father, Ernest Degagner, and siblings Diane Peddie, Roy Degagner, Eddie Degagner, and Donna Mackenzie.
Donald leaves behind his wife Cindy Degagner, his mother Faye Degagner (nee Howden), children Dustin Degagner (Amanda Robitaille), Josh Brown (Karigan Nichol), Noah Degagner, Emilee Degagner, Ami Degagner. Also, his sibling Marion Degagner, Sherron Bennett (Garry), Kenny Degagner, Nikki Harrod (Andy), Jackie Degagner, Heather Kramp, Trever Hillie, Terry Degagner (Margret).
He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Cohen, Landon, Avery, Connor, Kaeyln, Ivy, Judah, Elijah, and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Donald wishes, cremation has been arranged with Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative. A celebration of life will take place November 18, 2023, at New Liskeard First Baptist Church at 11 am.
Donations can be made directly to family for his children or can be sent to the Temiskaming cancer care in his honor.
