BAILEY, Donald Hugh – It is with deep sadness that we announce Donald’s sudden passing at his home in Larder Lake on Monday, February 22, 2016. Born in Nova Scotia on September 14, 1939 to the late Hugh and late Violet (née Townsend) Bailey. Donald is survived and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Huguette (née Mongrain); his children Ken Bailey, Cheryl (Bailey) Moreau and Caroline Bailey; his grandchildren Marianne (Labbe) Hull, Richard Labbe, Shawn Bailey, Tammy Bailey, Abigail Bailey and his precious great grandchildren Ava-Marie, Hunter and Charlie. Donald was the cherished brother to Mary Bailey Starratt, Kathleen Bailey McCrea, Henry Bailey. Many may remember Donald’s love of music. He enjoyed playing the guitar at Extendicare, Teck-Pioneer Residence and the Hospital. Cremation has taken place at French Family Funeral Home & Crematorium. Interment will be held this summer at his home town of Halifax Nova Scotia.Offer Condolence for the family of Donald Bailey

Don and I worked together at the Kerr Mine for several years and we often chatted at the coffee shop after his retirement. It was a pleasure knowing you Don. RIP
