ALLEN, Donald Mervin – – Suddenly at his home in Larder Lake on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 in his 72nd year. Much loved husband of Rosealine (née Antler). Proud Father of four sons – Barry (Elaine), Brent (Cathy), Eugene (Jane) and Robin (Brenda). Forever cherished by his grandchildren Jennifer (Lance), Scott (Erica), Ryan (Shari), Kelly, Melissa (Alan), Chad, Jessika, Lizzie, McKenna and by his great-grandchildren – Destiny, Dylan and Logan. Sadly missed by his siblings – Howard (Sharon), Sal Richer (Archie), Elmer (Gisele), Phyllis Dunn (Ken), Brian, Garry, Connie Carr (Tom), Ricky (Lise) and by his sister-in-law Alice. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by his parents, Philip & Myrtle Allen and by his brother Meryl. Visitation will be held at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, 705-567-3565) on Friday, September 7, 2007 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Edna Murdy officiating. Donald will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
