Conlin, Dollie Christina (Roddam), It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Dollie Conlin at the Temiskaming Lodge Haileybury on Friday September 13, 2013 at the age of 85 after a brief illness. Mrs. Conlin was born on November 8, 1927 in Mulgrave Nova Scotia to the late John Charles Roddam (deceased 1959) and the late Elizabeth Ann Horton (deceased 1976). Dollie was married on December 6, 1950 to Eldred Joseph Conlin who predeceased her in 1991. She is survived by her children Ann (Mrs. Danny Nichol), Brian and his wife Bärbel, and Michael and his wife Candace. Loving grandmother of Bonnie, Amy, Jennifer, Mark, Aspen, Rebecca and Daniel and great grandmother of 8 great grandchildren. Dollie's primary focus was on her family, she also loved gardening and flowers, camping, touring, Florida, and travel. She served 50 years with the Catholic Women's League where she was also president. As an active member of the community and volunteer Dollie worked with Meals on Wheels and visited the shut-ins and sick to name a few. Family and friends of the late Dollie Conlin will be received at the Perrin Funeral Chapel Ltd. 128 Whitewood Ave. New Liskeard, On. on Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. Mr. Tom Cambridge officiating. Cremation has taken place and the interment of ashes will follow the service at the New Liskeard Catholic Cemetery. If desired donations to the New Liskeard Bikers Reunion, the Temiskaming Lodge Volunteers Auxiliary or the Alzheimer's Association will be gratefully Acknowledged.
