JENINGS, Dennis

Peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, January 12, 2018 Dennis Jenings (Geeps) of Kirkland Lake passed away in his 80th year. Pre-deceased by his parents Arthur and Bertha Jenings of Owen Sound, his brother Noble Jenings and his sisters Connie Smith, Shirley Carmicheal (Alfred), Ilean Clow and Laverna Mitz. Dennis is survived by his wife Margaret of 43 years, loving father to Louise Nychuk (Terry) of Kenogami, Dennis Jenings (Brenda) of Kenogami and grandfather to Christopher Jenings of Kenogami; stepchildren Kevin Summerfield, Karen Knight, Terry Haines and Christine Summerfield. He will be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and also by his niece Marie Leno. Dennis loved woodworking, animals, being at the Kenogami Firehall, telling stories and having a cup of coffee with the boys. The family would like to thank Dr. McPherson and a Huge Thank You to all the nurses on the 4th floor of the Kirkland Lake Hospital. As per Dennis`s wishes, there will be no service or visitation at this time. If desired, donations can be sent to any animal shelter of your choice, it will be greatly acknowledged.
