In loving memory of David Keith who passed away after a brief illness at the Kirkland Lake and District Hospital on October 4, 2013 at the age of 85. Born and raised on Long Lake in Charlton, Ontario. He worked as a miner throughout northern Ontario and retired from Adams Mine in 1989. He owned and operated the local school bus service and a tourist outfitters business. He was an avid card player, loved the outdoors, enjoyed growing potatoes and loved playing and listening to music. He was married in Kirkland Lake to Inge (nee Swan) for 64 years. He raised his family in Tarzwell. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Louise, 12 siblings, a daughter Grace and a son Glen. He is survived by his wife Inge, daughter Judy (Ed Swanson), daughter Susan (Ben Prince) and son Gary (Lori) and grandchildren (Tammy, Derek, Angela, Robin, Shawn, Kim and Jeff and great grandchildren (Brett, Brittany, Summer, Dylan, Jaiden, Wyatt and Evan. A private family funeral service and interment was entrusted to the McDonald Funeral Home which was held at the Round Lake Cemetery on Sunday, October 6, 2013, Rev. Ross Bruleigh officiated. Pallbearers were Robin, Shawn, Derek, Kim, Jeff and Brett. In memory contributions to the Round Lake Cemetery (RR1, Tarzwell, ON, P0K 1V0) will be greatly appreciated by the family.
