POTHIER, CLÉMENT JOSEPH MENDOZA – – It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the family announces his passing at the Temiskiming Hospital in New Liskeard on Friday, July 20, 2007 after a courageous struggle with cancer. Clément leaves his beloved wife Lilliane (née Matteau) after 42 years of marriage. Proud father of his three sons – Michel & his wife Sandra, Richard & his wife Karen and Raymond & his wife Jamie. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Jessica, Daniel, Caitlyn, Ethan and Emalee. Fondly remembered by his siblings – Yvon (Lisette) Pothier, Majella (Laurent) Bedard, Florence (Louison) Vallière, André Pothier, Marcel (Shelley) Pothier, Norman Pothier and Nathalie Pothier and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Napoléon & Rose-Hélène, by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Sadly missed by his loyal friend Lady. Clément will always be remembered for his devotion to his family and for his inspiration to his sons. In honour of Clément, visitation will be held at the Elk Lake Nativity Parish on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Sanctuary of the Parish at 11:00 a.m. Clément will be laid to rest privately by his family in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (38 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake P2N 2E2) and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
