please find some comfort in this Bible scripture, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice+ 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, ” This is God’s promise to us. My condolences goes out to all the family and friends.

My condolences go out to all of Charlie’s family members. He was a great friend and roommate of my brother Philip who passed away November 7, 2014. I was always amazed at Charlie’s ability with dates.

Charlie was a genius. I found him very funny and full of mirth. I hated to have to leave Kirkland Lake suddenly; unable to see him the last year. Condolences to everyone who will miss him. Phelan+

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Charlie. I saw him last summer at Laura’s Art Shoppe in Cobalt, and I hadn’t seen him in years. When our family lived on Lang Street in Cobalt we knew the Osterberg family well and we loved Charlie. My sincere condolences to the Osterberg family and to his friends. He was a good Cobalter.

I have always had fond memories of Charlie during my time as a Personal Suppost worker. He use to attend the activities program and was filled with laughter and jokes. Dont think I’ve ever seen him upset. With much love…Brenda

We are so sorry to hear that Charlie is no longer with us, and we are saddened that we did not manage to make one more trip to visit him. We loved the few times we spent with him listening to his stories and his love of the history of his area, his fascination with trains, his uniqueness and his laughter. We are forever indebted to Virginia, who single handedly managed to bring Charlie all the way to Nipigon to stay with us, and for her love and dedication to him. Without her we would never had had the joy of reuniting with Charlie, a long lost brother. Charlie was special, and enriched the lives of all who knew him.
