I remember Mrs. Sipprell. She was quite a lady. She was kind and very generous to us kids. I hung out with her daughter Mary (Mary where are you?). I remember the day she told me that she had to move. Her big cool house was sitting right where the new highway was to be built. I don’t think she liked the idea of having to leave her house very much, but she realized she had no choice. She eventually moved into a smaller house in town and made the best of it. She was generous because she let my late husband, Carl Forbes take over her garage. He rebuilt his Kawasaki 500 from a basket of parts in the garage. It took quite a long time, but she was patient and let him work away to his hearts content. She was a good person and I will never forget her.
