Kirkey, Catherine Campbell Scobie McErlane, It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Catherine Kirkey on March 11, 2013 at the St. Joseph's Healthcare in Hamilton Ontario at the age of 89. Born in Glasgow Scotland on March 12, 1923 to Patrick and Catherine McErlane. Catherine was married to William Henry Kirkey in 1943. Loving mother of Paul and his wife Carol, Gary, Susan, Danny, Betty (Mrs. Patrick Thompson), William and his wife Debbie, Linda (Mrs. Peter Varga), Nancy (Mrs. Greg Hanson), Ruth, Donald and his wife Donna and Catherine Ann (Mrs. James Fox). Dear grandmother of 22 grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband William and daughter Lori. Friends will be received at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Thursday March 14, from 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. from Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church 81 Maple St. New Liskeard, Father John Lemire officiating. Spring Interment New Liskeard Catholic Cemetery. If desired donations to Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 33 New Liskeard would be appreciated by the family.
