It is with great sorrow that the family of Mr. Benito Facchin announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, February 16, 2008 in the comfort of his home. Benito was born in Biadene Treviso Italy on June 12, 1934. He was employed at the Kerr-Addison Mine for many years. Benito was predeceased by his wife Ginette (née Levesque); his sisters Wilma Maggioni Roma Facchin and Gina Cescato and twins who died at birth Italia and Benito as well as 2 brothers Luigi and Angelo Facchin. He is survived by his nephew Johnny Facchin and his children Des’Ree, Lia, Dylan, Allison as well as 1 sister-in-law and her son. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the “Teck-Hughes Chapel” of the Monette & French Funeral Home with Father Wayne Mills officiating. Benito will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the spring of 2008.
