FILLION, Armand

1947 - 2023

Armand Fillion, 75, of Kirkland Lake, passed away on April 11th, 2023 after a short fight with illness.

Armand was born on August 10th, 1947 to Rolland Fillion and Adorilda Fillion (nee Lemieux), in Dobie, Ontario.

He leaves behind his partner of over 20 years, Carmen Lemyre, his 5 children, Francoise (Bernard), Edouard (Celine), Daniel (Mindy), Marc, and Marcel (Tash), many grand children (Marie-Pier, Marc-Andre, Jeremy, Catherine, Samuel, Logan, Imogen, Liam, Mason, Dakota, Kaylee, Ethan, Elena, Christian), great grand children (Thomas, and Adalyne), and his partner’s children (Sandra, and Steve)

Throughout Armand’s life, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, volunteering his time for many organizations (and individuals), and enjoying a good meal.

Armand was predeceased by his parents, Rolland and Adorilda, brothers Lorenzo, Jean Guy “John”, and Fernand “Fern”. He is survived by sisters Monique, and Madelaine “Maddy”, and brothers Rolland “Rolly”, Henri, Real, and Antoine “Tony”.

Services will be held at the Assomption Church on Saturday April 15th at 11AM, followed by a gathering in the church basement in Armands honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ‘Les Chevaliers de Colomb’ and/or The Assomption Church.

So sorry for your loss of a good man. Some years ago Armand was our Santa at the Sesekinika children's Christmas party. We didn't have a sleigh so he came on an inner tube pulled a horse, he was really a good sport, and will remembered by the children of Ses that are all grown up now. Please accept our condolences
