Dear Gerri and Rose; I would like to express my deepest sympathy in your mother’s passing. I will never forget this special lady who greeted me with a smile each time we met. The fond memories Gerri when I used to visit you and your parents. I see her smiling right now as I close my eyes. May she rest in peace! Sincerely Yours; Michelle St. Georges

To all the family, Our deepest sympathies….She was such a beautiful woman with such a warm lovely smile and we have so many wonderful memories of her at the Italo Canadian Club. She was so hardworking and generous in everything she did. We were always grateful to her babysitting our very young Frances when the rest of the family went to Expo. Along with her husband she raised such special children who were always supportive to us as well. We loved her and will miss her. Big hugs to all, Dolores and family

To Rose, Gerri, families and friends: Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your mom. She was a very kind, thoughtful and Loving lady with a strong Catholic faith. She was a delight for me to have known. All of her goodness can be seen as a reflection in you, Rose and Gerri. Having received this blessing will surely help to ease your pain at this difficult time as she will live on in your hearts. Look at each other, not with sorrow, but with embraces of her Love that lives on in you. My prayers are with you. For Anna Maria, who I have no doubt was named in part after the Blessed Virgin Mary and Her mother St. Anne, I pray that God’s Eternal Rest be granted unto her, and that His Perpetual Light shine upon her. God bless.

Dear Rose, Gerri and your families, We are deeply saddened by the passing of Comare Angelicchio. Please accept our deepest condolences. Comare was a dear, dear friend and Rosa, Luigi and Alec will especially miss her wonderful, warm friendship dating back to the early 1950’s. Her phone calls and notes will be missed terribly. Her love for Alec was special and made a real difference in his life. Her Christmas gifts to Alec, thoughtful and carefully wrapped, were an annual highlight of Alec’s Christmas. Your mother and father were the Possamai’s closest friends in Kirkland Lake, and we saw you all as family. It was such an honor that our parents called each other Comare and Compare. It was also quite remarkable for Italians of their generation that they formed such deep, meaningful, loving friendships at a time when bigotry was dividing many northern and southern Italians. That is a testament to Comare’s strength of character and values that she passed on to her daughters. Please accept our deepest condolences, Rosa, Alec, Luigi and Mario
