SHORTT, Ann May
In loving memory of Mrs. Ann Shortt, who passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Lodge with family by her side on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the age of 93. Ann was born in Haileybury on May 1, 1923 to her parents William and Christena (McAulay) McKee. She was married to Bert Shortt on February 3, 1951 in New Liskeard until his death in 1967. Ann was well known in the community as the caretaker of the New Liskeard Community Hall. Ann will be missed by her sister Nora Wilson, her brothers Donald McKee and Rev. Andy McKee and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers William and Neil McKee and 3 sisters Kay McKee, Barbara Honsberger and Marg Sharp. The family of the late Ann Shortt will receive family and friends at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 17, 2016 from noon until time for the memorial service at 2pm. Rev. Judith Visser officiating. Refreshments will be served following the service at St. Paul's United Church by the U.C.W. If desired, donations to the CNIB, the Cancer Society or the Heart Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
