Marcel and Family
My Sincere Condolences to you and your family. Sending hugs and prayers.
André Joseph Eugene Pothier, 67, of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, passed away on Friday, March 18th at Kirkland Lake District Hospital.
André was born in Beaucanton Quebéc to Napoleon Pothier and Rose-Helene Paquet on January 10th 1955. He was a devoted father and husband who loved his family more than anything. He worked for many years as a cab driver for King and A1 taxi. He would go above and beyond for every one of his passengers, he loved to be able to help anyone who needed it. He enjoyed fishing and working on many crafting projects for his family. He loved to play his guitar and sing on Sunday mornings and with his siblings whenever possible. He touched so many hearts, it’s not something that can be described in a few sentences. To be able to say everything about how amazing he was, it would take a whole book to do him justice.
André is survived by his common-law wife of many years, Lori Armstrong; his children Mark Pothier (Tara-Lea), Jim Pothier (Carmen), Christy Burnside (Pete), Tyson Pothier (Tina), Stephan Pothier (Ashley), and Andrea Armstrong; his siblings Marcel Pothier (Shelley), Florence Pothier (Louison), and Norman Pothier; his grandchildren Emily, Jaxon, Jenna, Caitlyn, Marshall, Keira, Lyric, Dontae, Hailey, and Noah. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he loved very much. Hugs and kisses to his niece Nicolle and Hope for all of your support. He is predeceased by his parents; and his siblings Yvon, Gaëton, Clement, Majella, Leo-paul, Mariette, Julien, Rosaire, Francine, and Nathalie.
