GAUTHIER, André

It is with great sadness the family announces the death of André Gauthier on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the age of 91. Mr. Gauthier was born August 23, 1925 in Pearson, Ontario, to Harris and Marie (Lachapelle) Gauthier. Left to mourn is his wife of 69 years, Cécile (Benoit) and his five children, Georgette Gauthier (Lorenzo), Denise Alexander (Charles), Anette Neil (Roger), Arthur Gauthier (Louise) and Claude Gauthier (Heather), as well as 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Alda Léveillé and brother, Phillipe Gauthier, sister-in-law Jeannine Rivard, Madeleine Ménard, Pauline Boucher and brother-in-law, André Benoit and Lionel Dénommé. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. If desired donations can be made to the Community Cancer Care, New Liskeard.
