CAMPSALL, Alson
The family of Alson Campsall sadly announce her passing on Sunday June 26, 2016 at the age of 92. Her family is comforted in knowing she is with her husband Bill and son John. Although Alson is no longer with us, she will continue to live on through her daughter Nora Lee (Gerry), sons Ron (Allyson) and Eric, her grandchildren Jason (Melissa), Andrew (Katy), Jennifer (Chris) and Ryan (Stephanie) and by her first great grandchild Lincoln. Alson lived a full life. Those who were honored to have known her, knew of her love for her family. Having been born and raised at Gillies Lake, Coleman Township, her wealth of knowledge of the history of the area was always appreciated. She enjoyed that her children and grandchildren still spend their summers at her homestead swimming and gathering around the bonfire. Holidays were a very special part of her life as she always welcomed everyone to her table for holiday celebrations where many a song was sang, bellies filled and stories shared. Alson loved when her friends or her children’s friends stopped by to talk and laugh about the good old times, so to celebrate her life, the family requests that you reconnect with a special person in your life and go out for lunch to enjoy each other’s company and reminisce. We would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Don Davies who allowed her to pass with dignity, to the staff at the Extendicare Nursing Home, Northdale Manor and Temiskaming Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. We can’t thank you all enough. Thank you to everyone for your thoughtfulness and words of comfort. Following cremation, a private family service took place and she has been laid to rest with her Bill.
