DOBRATZ, Allan David – It is with deep sadness that we announce Allan’s passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Allan is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Johanna (née Edmond) Dobratz; his loving wife Norma; his 2 sisters Dorothy and Ester. Allan will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his children David (Helen) of Kitchener, Laura (Rolly) Bessette of Mattawa, Helen Olson (Don Legere) of Timmins, Ron (Laura) also of Timmins; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Allan is also survived by his loving sisters Ruth and Dinah; dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends. The Dobratz family will welcome friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1) on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the funeral home with Susan Berlingeri officiating.
