Joanne and family
My sincere condolences to you and your family
Allan Lawrence Aitchison passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023, at Temiskaming District Hospital, surrounded by his loving Family following a long courageous battle with Cancer.
Allan was born in Kerns Township on May 26, 1957 to Lorne and Clerina Aitchison where he was raised on the family farm until moving just up the road to start his own Beef Farm Operation (A-J's Acres) with his wife Joanne (Rivard) . Allan was an avid beef farmer who loved an auction and had a passion for beef cattle. Allan sat on numerous boards and committees as a representative of the Beef Industry in Northern Ontario for the last 40 years.
He is survived by wife of 47 years Joanne and sons Bruce (Candace) & Joedy (Tammy). He is also survived by his four little men (grandsons) Pacey, Cameron, Lorne and Tyler.
In accordance with Allan's wishes, no services are planned.
In memory of Allan, donations may be directed to Community Cancer Care (14 Armstrong St. N., Temiskaming Shores, ON., P0J 1P0).

Sorry for your loss and deepest sympathies to all. Thinking of you all at this time. Hugs and love to you all.
There is getting to be a growing crowd upstairs, so I hope Allan brought lots of beef on a bun to go around. Then again, I am sure there is an endless supply up there.
When you are a kid, there is nothing like a cousin and I remember the fun we all had, even though it was a long time ago.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family and community. He will be missed by many.

he had a way of cutting through the bs to get an answer...he lived for his family and loved you all so much. he always gave me advice that i should've listened closer too.
He looked like he owned the world when he pulled up in his Caddie and was very proud of hard work to get what he wanted...his wit and wisdom will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I heard the news when I was out west visiting my family. I have nothing but good memories of Allan. We rode the same school bus for years and he always had a smile and joke to tell. He was a hard worker and I know he loved you so much.
Please accept my deepest sympathies in Allen's passing I know I am late in doing so however wanted to express my thoughts to you. So many of my cousins pass and I don't hear until it is long after the service.
