We are so fortunate to have met and dined with the awesome Abe - especially at his cottage. Our hearts and open arms go out to you, your family and Pat. Let the grief flow through as it chooses to - ebbing at times and gushing forth when you least expect it. "As long as we live, they too will live; for they are now are a part of us; as we remember them."

I am sorry to hear about the passing of your father. He had a life well-lived! I have so many fond memories of him, your mom and both of you during our shared Raven Mountain years. What a treasure we enjoyed. Speaking of memories, i wish you a lifetime of memories, especially as you go through this poignant time.

I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I have many fond memories of growing up in Kirkland Lake and knowing the Aidelbaums. My last time seeing you and Abe was at the cottage a few years ago. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences for your family in this time. I can’t help but remember all the amazing times we shared together with Abe. The stories, jokes, fantastic meals and delicious scotches by the water at Cedar Cove, where Abe loved to be. And who can forget that 90th birthday party! When I talk about Abe to my friends back home I always brought up his humour, wit and sharpness and he never lost it throughout the years I’ve known him. Cheers to an amazing man who will be missed greatly, but his legacy never forgotten.

We were truly saddened to hear of the passing of your dear father. We were fortunate to have met Abe, and fondly remember his wit, intellect and kindness. Evidently, qualities he passed on to his family. Love is immortal and memories are portable. Abe's love and the memories you share of him will go with you wherever life takes you.

It was an honour for us to get to know Abe over the past years & it was obvious how much he loved all his family. His partnership with Mom ( Pat ) was loving and supportive. He was always interested in many topics and willing to have open discussions. He was generous, kind and a strong supporter of his community. Sending our love and warm thoughts to all the family.

Pat and the family
Sending love to Pat (my grandma) and Abe’s family - you’re all in my thoughts in this tender time. I valued Abe’s generosity as a thoughtful host whenever we were up North and visited his place- he always made a point to make us feel welcome & comfortable. It was clear how much he cared for his family and my grandma. I hope your many good memories are bringing comfort though the loss.
